Shocking! This Mumbai stall sells sugarcane with dog urine on it

After the viral video of selling unhygienic lemon juice at Kurla railway station and Idlis cooked using toilet water outside Borivli railway station, another video has now gone viral from Vasai, wherein a sugarcane juice seller was allegedly selling juice of those sugarcanes where dogs previously urinated on.

According to sources, this took place at Achole road, Nalasopara and was taken on Friday morning from a few people residing at Dhiraj building in Achole area. While on their early morning walk, they saw dogs urinating on sugarcanes that were placed near the stall.

The stall, situated on the footpath, was run illegally. Speaking with mid-day, a local resident SEO (especial executive officer) Shrikant Jadhav said, " There are many sugarcane stalls in Vasai and Nalasopara which are run illegally. Customers like to consume sugarcane juice, but is it prepared keeping hygiene in mind? Stall owners should be aware and ensure they maintain hygiene standards while providing food or juices.

The photos show four to five stray dogs urinating on the sugarcanes that are present on the footpath.

After the video went viral, the juice stall owner escaped. The local Municipal authority has also been informed about the case.
