Former India cricketer Ravi Shastri was in awe after taking a ride on the street circuit of the Monaco Grand Prix in the passenger seat of a high-performance car driven by five-time Formula drift champion James Deane.

In a viral video posted by Formula One to their 42.6 million followers on Instagram, Shastri, 64, who is an avid racing fan, can be seen commentating on the speedy lap like he does for cricket matches. "It's like a tracer bullet down the narrow streets of Monaco. No wonder, it's one of the great circuits in the world. It's fast, it's furious. This is marbles in your mouth stuff," Shastri exclaimed as the car breached speeds of 250 kmph.

The video received 2.85 lakh ‘likes' and over 2.6 million views.
