Jensen Huang, chief executive officer of US chip giant Nvidia, unveiled the RTX Spark superchip at Computex 2026 on Tuesday, June 2.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang calls it a new generation of personal computers while further declaring that the traditional PC is being reinvented for the age of artificial intelligence.
During the event in Taipei, Huang showcased RTX Spark. The revolutionary chipset is a Windows-on-Arm superchip that combines a 20-core Grace CPU, a Blackwell GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores, AI acceleration hardware, and up to 128GB of unified memory into a single package.
Tech giant Nvidia, while introducing the chipset, said that this has been designed to ensure power gaming, content creation, and advanced AI workloads on thin-and-light laptops.
While speaking at Computex 2026, the Nvidia chief also claimed that this RTX Spark can deliver more than 100 frames per second at 1440p resolution in modern AAA games while operating on battery power, offering graphics performance comparable to an RTX 5070-class GPU in devices as thin as 14mm.
Juand further highlighted that the chip has been developed in collaboration with Microsoft and MediaTek, with NVIDIA positioning it as a cornerstone of a new AI-centric Windows ecosystem.
Announcing the rollout of the chip, he also said that more than 30 laptop and desktop models powered by RTX Spark are expected to launch this fall from major manufacturers, including Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, and Microsoft.
Before announcing the revolutionary RTX Spark chip, the Nvidia CEO also highlighted that employees should be paid decently, even though AI is booming.

Speaking on the sidelines of Computex in Taipei on Tuesday, Huang further said that employees should benefit from the rapid growth generated by AI-driven investments.
Sharing Nvidia's employment welfare greatness, Huag said, "I pay my employees as much as I can. That's what I do; it doesn't make this right," as cited by IANS.
Huang's remarks come at a time when several major technology companies across Asia are facing increasing pressure from workers seeking a greater share of profits generated from the AI infrastructure boom.
