Scientists at Nanyang Technological University have developed ultrathin transparent solar cells that could transform windows, car sunroofs, and smart glasses into power generators. The new perovskite-based cells are around 10,000 times thinner than a strand of human hair. Researchers believe this could help cities produce clean energy using existing building surfaces without changing their appearance or requiring additional land.
