Does he want to get intimate with me?

If you don’t understand something and have been with someone long enough to be able to ask questions, this is a red flag

I have been dating someone for a few weeks, and the messages we exchange are increasingly flirtatious. I think he is implying that he wants to get physically intimate with me, and this worries me because I have no idea what to do about it. I think I like him and would like to get into a relationship, but this inability to tell him about my experience with sex is making me feel like he won't take me seriously. It's causing a lot of unnecessary awkwardness, and I don't know how to manage our conversations. What should I do?
If you like this person and have been thinking about a relationship, the first thing to do is set boundaries by being honest. If you are not comfortable with this conversation, or don't know how to proceed, it is an opportunity to open up and give him a chance to respond in a way that shows you how he thinks. There is nothing wrong with being sexually inexperienced because no one starts out knowing everything there is to know about intimacy. Tell him you need time, talk about this awkwardness, and allow things to develop in an organic manner. To talk about something you aren't comfortable with only creates unnecessary pressure, which won't help either of you. If he likes you too and respects you enough to listen to what you're saying, you will both be off to a great start.

Should I propose to my boyfriend if he isn't willing to do it himself? He says he won't deny me if I do, and I don't know if this is an ego thing. I have been with him for two years and we love each other, so I don't understand his problem.
If you don't understand something and have been with someone long enough to be able to ask questions, this is a red flag. If he can't articulate why he needs you to ask him this important question, you should both consider working on communication skills first.
