A guy I like in college recently asked for my number. I didn't give it the first time because I didn't know if he was a decent person or not, but after checking with some friends I heard he was well-behaved and seemingly normal. A week ago, I gave him my number, and there has been no message since. I don't know if this is some kind of ego trip that involves making me ask for some kind of contact. What is the best way to deal with this without making it seem as if I am being difficult? I want to get to know him, but I don't want to play any of these games.
If you have something on your mind, the best way to deal with it is by taking decisive steps. He may have all kinds of reasons for not messaging or calling, and the only way you will know what those reasons are is by asking him. The fact that he wants your number indicates interest in who you are. If you feel the same way about him, why not initiate a conversation in class and start with a cup of coffee? Why go through the ritual of messaging when you can always have a chat in real life?

I regret getting into an argument over a guy with one of my best friends. She doesn't speak to me much anymore and the guy isn't even in my life now, so it all feels as if I lost a friend for nothing. I have apologised for my behaviour, of course, but it feels like something has changed permanently between us and I don't know what I can do to fix it. How do I get her to be friends with me again?
You can only state your case, be as honest about your feelings as possible, and hope that time heals the rift that has come up between you two. She may feel differently in time, and you may just have to wait.
