Aryan Komandur Wins AITA National Tennis Championship Series, Under-12 Singles

Aryan follows in the footsteps of his 14-year-old brother, Ruhan Komandur, by winning the AITA

Aryan Komandur Wins AITA National Tennis Championship Series, Under-12 Singles

Aryan Komandur - winner of AITA National Championship series (Cs- 7)

Twelve-year-old Aryan beat Ranveer, the top seed, 7-5, 6-4 in straight sets to claim the National Championship cup (CS-7). Throughout the tournament, he displayed an impressive performance. The tournament was held at Tennis Arena, Bengaluru.


On his way to the championship, he defeated the 2nd seed, Aditya, in the quarterfinals and the 4th seed, R. Jain, in the semi-finals before triumphing over the top seed in the final in straight sets.

Aryan follows in the footsteps of his 14-year-old brother, Ruhan Komandur, by winning the AITA

National Championship series (Cs- 7). Ruhan is now focusing on training and fitness to become one of the youngest participants in the ITF men’s circuit by next year.

Both the Komandur brothers are now AITA singles champions. They both attend Bishop Cotton Boys School, St. Marks Road, Bengaluru.
