Bollywood star Akshay Kumar recently caught headlines after a video of him went viral on social media. In the video, the actor was seen getting angry at a fan who was trying to record him in the UK. The actor, infuriated, moved towards the fan and snatched his phone from his hand with aggression. The video raked up a storm on social media with many criticising the actor for his arrogance. The video was allegedly taken during his holiday in London. Now the fan has come forward and explained what really happened between them, emphasising that it might not be as serious as it looked.
The viral video
The fan shared a video sharing his side of the story. He revealed that he spotted Akshay Kumar on Oxford Street and wanted to confirm if it was really him. The fan shared, "I was standing at the signal on Oxford Street when I saw someone who I thought was Akshay Kumar. To verify, I decided to follow him. First, I took a video from behind. Then, when I tried to record from the front, he saw me, came closer, and directly snatched my phone. Maybe he was busy at the time. He pulled the phone from my hand and also grabbed my hand."
Fan clarifies
Now in a new video, the fan shared how the situation unfolded and then soon became peaceful. According to the fan, after taking the phone, Akshay politely asked him to stop taking videos. He shared that when Akshay snatched the phone with one hand and grabbed his hand with the other, the fan told the actor that they were in the UK and that he need not touch him, following this the Hera Pheri 3 actor apologised.

The fan revealed, "He (Akshay Kumar) said, 'Sorry beta, I'm busy right now, please don't disturb me and don't take my photo or video.' I told him, 'You could've said that politely. Now please give me my phone back.' After that, Akshay Kumar returned my phone and asked me where I'm from and what I'm doing here. In the end, he even agreed to take a picture with me. There wasn't any major issue between us. He was actually a really nice guy. He looked like he was only 35-40 years old."
