1999 Men are like cats

2000 Space sex is tough
In space, you can have sex without, "mechanical assistance" in only four positions. French scientific writer Pierre Kohler cited a confidential Nasa report in his book, The Final Mission: Mir, The Human Adventure. He said US and Russian astronauts have had sex in space to figure how humans might survive years in orbit. "Two guinea pigs then tested them (positions) in real zero-gravity conditions. The results were videotaped but considered so sensitive, that even Nasa was only given a censored version." One of the principal findings: the missionary position, which is so easy on earth when gravity pushes one downwards, is simply not possible.
2001 Paris built empire on oral sex
The world woke up to the phenomenon called Paris Hilton. Her ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon "leaked" a sex tape titled, 1 Night In Paris on the Internet shortly before the debut of her TV series, The Simple Life. Shot on night-vision camera, the porn video showed the hotel heiress having oral sex with her boyfriend. He was sued, and she went on to build a media empire.

A videotaped expose of corruption in Indian military deals that shook the government, took a dramatic turn when it was revealed that three defence officers it implicated were supplied prostitutes. 2002 India gets a whole sex museum
The country's first sex museum opened in Mumbai in the infamous red light district of Kamathipura. In keeping with the focus on awareness, the exhibits included fibre glass models of men, women and their genitalia, models explaining how to use condoms and illustrations on AIDS and STDs.

The year was a tough one for the South Indian actress. Her infamous comment about premarital sex being okay as long as it was safe, caused public outrage in Chennai and eventually spawned a national debate. In 2006, men's magazine Maxim published morphed photos of her in a bikini, which sparked an international debate over the right to privacy vs freedom of press. Khushboo sued the magazine for Rs 3 crore.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) files charges against eight people, including BSF Deputy Inspector General KS Padhi, with rape in a high-powered sex scandal involving government ministers, business leaders and girls as young as 15 forced into prostitution and pornography.
2007 Vanessa goes nude at 17
A nude photo of teen idol Vanessa Hudgens from Disney's tween mega-hit High School Musical hit the Internet in September. Hudgens was "embarrassed over the situation" and "regrets having taken the photos" when she was 17. Meanwhile, her popularity skyrocketed. A new set of her nude self-portraits were online in 2009.
2008 We are proud to be gay
The LGBT (short for lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender) community in Mumbai held its highest profile Indian gay pride parade. Their campaign against the dreaded anti-gay laws was quite the success story; in July 2009, the New Delhi High Court repealed Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code, which decriminalizes consensual sex between gay men.

Star golfer Tiger Woods admitted to several infidelities after a US tabloid published a story about his extramarital affair with a nightclub manager in December. At last count, 14 women had claimed they had sordid affairs with Woods, who is now on a self-imposed career break.
