Kerala landslide: Stranded rescue workers airlifted to safety from Soochipara waterfalls area

Two rescue workers who ventured deep into the forest near landslide-affected Munadakkai region to search for and recover dead bodies, got stranded near the Soochipara waterfalls and were airlifted to safety on Saturday in an Indian Air Force helicopter.

Numerous teams of rescue personnel are combing the nearby forest, the banks of the Chaliyar river, and the area around Soochipara waterfalls to recover any dead bodies from the July 30 landslide.
