Chasing 176, they reached their target in 30.3 overs with Johnson Charles making 55 and Jonathan Carter an unbeaten 50.
West Indies will make the last-eight unless the final group game between Pakistan and Ireland in Adelaide ends in a tie or a no result.
The United Arab Emirates were all out for 175 after being sent into bat in the Pool B match at Napier's McLean Park.
Nasir Aziz made 60 and Amjad Javed 56 when putting on 107 for the seventh wicket.
