Days after tying the knot in an intimate ceremony, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and his wife Gauri Spratt are reportedly preparing for another major milestone in their new journey together. According to recent reports, the couple will eventually move into a sprawling sky villa that is currently under development as part of a premium residential project in Mumbai's Khar neighbourhood.
The upcoming residence is said to be part of the redevelopment of the Marina Apartments complex, a project Aamir has reportedly been planning for some time. Once completed, the property is expected to be a multi-generational family home rather than a residence exclusively for the newlyweds. Reports by Free Press Journal claim the actor has invested nearly Rs 100 crore in the project, which is expected to be ready around 2030.
Unlike a conventional luxury apartment, the proposed home is reportedly being designed as a spacious sky villa spread across multiple floors. The upper levels are expected to house Aamir and Gauri's private residence, while additional apartments in the same building have reportedly been earmarked for members of the actor's extended family.
As reported by Free Press Journal, the project is said to accommodate Aamir's mother, his children Junaid and Azad, and his sisters, allowing the family to live under one roof while maintaining individual living spaces. Reports also suggest that separate residences have been planned for former wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, reflecting the cordial relationship the actor continues to share with both of them.
The building is also expected to include a dedicated floor for family gatherings, celebrations and entertaining guests, making it more of a private family estate than a standard residential property. The design reportedly aims to balance privacy with togetherness, ensuring each family member has their own space while remaining closely connected.
Aamir and Gauri got married on July 5 in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends after being in a relationship for around two years. The actor had publicly introduced Gauri earlier this year, and the couple have largely kept their relationship away from the spotlight.
While neither Aamir nor his team has officially commented on the reported housing plans, the prospect of a sprawling sky villa designed to accommodate his entire family has already generated significant buzz, with fans praising the actor's emphasis on keeping loved ones close even as he begins a new chapter in his personal life.
