Following the firing incident involving Tiger Shroff on Sunday, October 18, 2026, security has been tightened outside Salman Khan's residence, Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai's Bandra. The Mumbai Police personnel have increased the checks in the area. They are also inspecting vehicles near the actor's home as a precautionary measure.
In a video shared by ANI, the security activity outside Salman Khan's residence in Mumbai can be seen beefed up following the firing incident involving Tiger Shroff. The visuals outside Salman Khan's home drew attention as the police continue investigating the shooting at Shroff and reports of a purported threat directed at Salman and people associated with him.
Salman resides at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, where security has been a concern for a long time now. Ever since gunmen fired outside his residence in April 2024, the area is often guarded by the police. While the timing of the latest security measures around Salman Khan's home has sparked speculation about a connection with the Tiger Shroff shooting, there has been no official confirmation that it is a direct response to that incident.
The shooting on Tiger happened on Sunday, October 18, when the actor was leaving a football ground in Mumbai's Juhu area. Fans were seen gathered outside the venue as his vehicle exited the gate. Just when his car reached the road, unidentified attackers allegedly fired several rounds at his car. The actor was unharmed; however, his driver was left injured. Another bystander is also believed to be injured during the incident.
Meanwhile, the three accused in the firing case have been arrested in Kota, Rajasthan, as per ANI. The Anti-Gangster Task Force, along with Rajasthan Police, arrested them from Kota railway station while they were travelling from Mumbai to Delhi. The group, which had been absconding since the incident, allegedly includes one person from Maharashtra and two from Haryana.
Soon after the attack, a social media post circulated on social media from a Facebook account named Anmol Bishnoi. The post claimed responsibility for the attack. In the post alleged that they had previously contacted Shroff to warn him but he did not heed the warning. The message also threatened members of the Mumbai film industry who do not comply with the gang's demands or continue working with Salman Khan.
