Sanjana Sanghi: ‘Focusing on exploring the West’

Sanjana Sanghi's last release Woh Bhi Din The (2024) was two years ago. To an outsider, that could seem like a long gap. But according to the actor, it's exactly the time she needed to plan her next moves. Where exactly are her next moves leading her? Hopefully, to the West.

"I've been focusing on expanding beyond Hindi language cinema and exploring the West. There's a lot cooking there, which I'm excited about," she said, without divulging too many details.

On home turf, the actor - who debuted as a female lead with Dil Bechara (2020) and caught attention with Dhak Dhak (2023) - is also considering making her web series debut. "[I am thinking] about foraying into the web series space. Many opportunities have come, but it's such a big commitment that I was waiting for the right one," she said.
