Touch of New Orleans
SoBo20, Mumbai's Franco-American boîte and bar at InterContinental Hotel on Marine Drive is hosting brunch this month beginning from May 17. The restaurant has introduced a New Orleans and Louisiana-inspired Sunday afternoon brunch interpreted entirely through the restaurant's singular Franco-American lens.

Start with a grazing table that includes whipped feta and brown butter cannellini pâté beside artfully composed salads like the Herbed Beetroot Salad, a generous cheese board, a warm bread display. The cocktails include New Orleans Mary, South Basil Smash, Gin Paloma, and the Mango Martini

 

The menu also has Crisp Pizzettes, Louisiana Curry Puff, Stracciatella Crostini, and Chilli Cheese Hot Dogs. The mains include Eggs Benedict, Étouffée Rice Pilaf, Citrus Sea Bass, Shrimp & Grits and Summer Lemon Tagliolini.

Finish your meal with desserts such as Chocolate Pâté, In-house seasonal ice creams, and Banana Foster Turnovers -- all while listening to jazz

Tropical flavours 
This May, JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu is hosting its tropical-themed brunch to transport diners across sun-soaked destinations through flavour, aroma, and experience. 

While the first one on May 17 was a Mediterranean Summer Brunch, the next Southeast Asian Tropics brunch on May 24 will bring together the vibrant culinary traditions of Southeast Asia through a fragrant and flavour-forward spread. 

Inspired by bustling street markets and island flavours, the brunch will showcase comforting Thai curries, delicate Vietnamese summer rolls, Indonesian satays, and refreshing tropical fruit salads. Complementing the menu will be an array of inventive beverages including lemongrass cocktails, pandan coolers, and passionfruit spritzes, offering guests a refreshing tropical indulgence

The month-long celebration will culminate on 31st May with a Mango Verandah Brunch, an ode to the season’s most beloved fruit. Crafted to highlight mangoes in both sweet and savoury expressions, the brunch will feature signature dishes such as mango sticky rice, flavourful mango curries, vibrant mango salads, and an indulgent selection of fresh mango desserts. Guests can also enjoy a playful beverage menu featuring Mango Bellinis, traditional Mango Lassi, and tropical mango-inspired cocktails that celebrate the richness and versatility of the fruit

Asian indulgence
Fairmont Mumbai invites diners to indulge in an immersive “The Dim Sum Table at Beyond Oryn” showcasing fifty-one varieties of dim sum through a lively dining experience.

Diners can indulge in a brunch menu that features dishes such as the Truffle Edamame Crystal Dumpling, Wild Mushroom & Black Garlic Bao, Braised Bamboo & Goji Berry dumplings, Saffron Infused Water Chestnut & Charred Corn, and Taro & White Asparagus dim sum, alongside seafood and meat offerings including Lobster & Cognac Har Gow, Sea Urchin & Prawn dumplings, Quail with Black Pepper Orange Marmalade, Duck Confit & Lychee Potstickers, and 5 Spice Pork.

The brunch further features Chef Kanti’s signature steamed classics, pan-fried gyozas and spring rolls, signature Cheung Funs with prawn, chicken, and vegetable fillings, as well as interactive live stations including an Asian Soup Bar with selections of wontons and dumplings, and a Peking Duck carving station, and lastly with desserts inspired by the East.
