Terms it as waste and says it should be thrown into the dustbin and used later to generate electricity
Two days after the Shiv Sena launched its âvision document' for the forthcoming Maharashtra state assembly elections, the Congress has reciprocated by mocking it. The party has called the document, which states the Sena's plan to transform Nagpur into a transport hub, Pune an educational hub and Solapur a textile hub among many other things, if the party comes into power, a âwaste'.

On Saturday, Congress spokesperson Sachin Sawant issued a statement on the vision document and called it as âa photography document' by Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray. "The vision document by Sena is less of a manifesto, but more of a photo document by Thackeray," said Sawant, making fun of the many pictures that appear in the proposal.
He even added, "Sena's vision document should be thrown into the dustbin so that, in the future, it can be used to generate electricity." The Congress also mocked Sena's dreams by questioning how the party plans to handle the entire state, when it couldn't even handle a city like Mumbai in spite of being in power for nearly two decades.
Reacting to the remarks, Neelam Gorhe, spokesperson for the Shiv Sena, said, "Shiv Sena has political commitment and sincerity to fulfill the promises of people, which Congress failed to do. They better not talk about us, because, the party couldn't even attain the leader of opposition post after the Lok Sabha elections."
