Founders 
Raghavendra Rao and Divya are the co-founders of The Rameshwaram Cafe, which they started in 2021 in Bengaluru

Whiile Raghavendra, who is the CEO, is a mechanical engineer graduate, with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Divya is the managing director of the cafe, and a chartered accountant, who combine their love for South Indian food to serve its many delicacies to Indians across the country

Inspiration
The inspiration for The Rameshwaram Cafe is rooted in former Indian president and scientist Dr APJ Abdul Kalam's words. The name 'Rameshwaram' name was chosen as homage to the birthplace of the former Indian president, whose contribution to the progress of India on the global stage is known to all across the globe, as he led by example

Outlets in India
Currently, the Rameshwaram Cafe is situated in Bengaluru in Indiranagar, JP Nagar, Whitefield and Rajaji Nagar; the cafe also has outlets in Viman Nagar in Pune, and Madhapur in Hyderabad.

The newest outlet, and the first in Mumbai is all set to open at Eros building in Churchgate, near the railway station

Food
As the cafe brings some of its signature, must-try dishes to the city, it’s also making a thoughtful effort to cater to the Jain community, with a dedicated selection that includes inventive takes on the classic puri bhaji. Located in South Mumbai, a neighbourhood known for its strong vegetarian culture, the menu has been carefully curated to reflect the tastes and preferences of its local diners, blending familiarity with a fresh culinary twist

Mumbai outlet 
While the launch date for the Mumbai outlet is yet to be announced, foodies will be happy to know that the eatery in the city boasts of two floors - one that has a standing dining area and the first floor that has an expansive seating area, that not only has a private dining room, but also place for people work from with charging ports, and a calming view of Churchgate
