How do I stop other girls from trying to go out with my good-looking boyfriend? They seem to think we are not a good match because I admit I am not as easy on the eye as he is. We love each other a lot but I can always tell that people question our relationship and it tires me out. If I tell him my fears, he laughs and says I shouldn't worry, but how can I not worry? There are women at every party we go to, all trying to get close to him or ask him for his number. I sometimes wonder if I should break up just to avoid having to deal with this.
The anger you feel may be justified, but why question your relationship? It only makes your boyfriend seem as if he doesn't have a mind of his own. Looks aren't the only parameter by which a relationship is defined, irrespective of what people on the outside may believe. You and your boyfriend clearly have strong reasons for wanting to be with each other, and you must try and remind yourself of what those reasons are. Any insecurity you feel only makes you more vulnerable in the eyes of people who question why you are a couple. If you work less on the women hitting on your boyfriend and more on how much you trust each other, everything else starts to fade away into insignificance and loses its power to hurt. When you have a strong, unbreakable bond, anyone trying to break it will turn into a source of amusement rather than annoyance.
How do I make my ex-boyfriend realise that I still love him? It has been months since we broke up and he thinks it's over permanently, but I would give him another chance if he just asked.
Maybe your inability or refusal to tell him how you feel is the problem, because it's obvious that there aren't open lines of communication between you two. Try giving him a call.
