The team of the Delhi police special cell that brought JM Road serial blasts accused Sayed Feroz to the city has found some wire pieces from the Cantonment workshop of the suspected Indian Mujahideen operative, besides two revolvers and some cartridges.
The discovery at the workshop was made during a search on Sunday night. There was talk in the city that the Delhi police had picked up a person from Kondhwa in connection with the case, but the Delhi police denied detaining anybody from the city during the search.

“We have not detained or picked up anybody during our search on Sunday, but we have identified some people in the city and our team is trying to figure out their role in the serial blasts case,” Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjeev Yadav of the Delhi police special cell said. “Apart from two revolvers and cartridges, our team has found some pieces of wires from Feroz’s workshop in Cantonment.”
The police suspect the wires are leftovers from material used to make IEDs (improvised explosive devices). Yadav said the state Anti-Terrorism Squad was working on other angles and was coordinating with the Delhi team.
